In 2016, thanks to the efforts of students and authorities, we were able to present the program for the first time at universities in Piura, Arequipa, Ica, Lambayeque, and Ancash. On each trip, we met people who were deeply committed to developing scientific capacity in their region, but above all, we were able to talk to students about their plans, their goals, and the tools they need to achieve them.

 

We are convinced that all regions have excellent students who can make the most of the opportunities and tools that their profession offers. For this reason, in 2017 we created REPU atix, a new program through which we seek to train students from all regions of Peru through a research experience at the best institutions in Peru.

 

This program is aimed at Peruvian university students who live and study outside Lima, with some research experience and a keen interest in furthering their academic future.

 

Selected students will participate in a 10-week internship in which they will receive intensive training and develop a research project in line with their profile at one of the participating institutions.
